Have you ever wondered… What is cognitive? How do I find a process candidate for cognitive automation? Is there a difference between machine learning and natural language processing? How do I select and implement the appropriate model?:

In case you have, we are happy to invite you to our new training course Cognitive Awareness (Introduction to Cognitive Methodology).

What can you expect?

  • A 4 hour lesson over Skype.
  • Participants will:
    • Understand the context of cognitive in a business world
    • Be introduced to the cognitive methodology and the science behind
    • Be able to recognize the potential of cognitive within an organization
  • This session is tailored from Analyst, to Specialist, to Managers and has no prerequisites.

The contents and the language of the training will be tailored to the needs of the participants. If English-speaking participants register, the training will be held in English. Training materials are only available in English. The course will take place via Skype.


Katerina Lesch, Ph.D.
Analytics and Information Management Deloitte

Manager with more than 10 years of experience in natural language processing (NLP). Katerina will provide participants with a deep knowledge in cognitive methodology and semantic analysis on unstructured data. Katerina has delivered over 20 NLP projects for clients worldwide and she is experienced in retail, e-commerce, telecommunications, and public.

Pavel Milička
Analytics and Information Management, Deloitte

Expert on the use of machine learning, predictive modelling, data analyses and data visualisation in complex projects.

Brandon Eychaner
Analytics and Information Management Deloitte

Senior consultant with eight years of teaching experience and an extensive background in linguistics. His academic record focuses on vocal and linguistic data analysis, while more recently he has worked in a variety of machine learning and natural language processing projects; particularly dealing with scripting, web scraping, optical character recognition, and unsupervised document classification. He is experienced in Python programming and open-source software.
